Sacramental Preparation

This section contains information about proper Catechesis (or preparation) for reception of the Sacraments. Sacramental Preparation programs are offered at St. Gianna for all of the Sacraments of Initiation as well as for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Matrimony.  To learn more about preparation for the reception of the Sacrament click on the Sacrament.

THE SACRAMENTS OF INITIATION
“Christian initiation is accomplished by three sacraments together: Baptism which is the beginning of new life; Confirmation which is its strengthening; and the Eucharist which nourishes the disciple with Christ’s Body and Blood for his/her transformation in Christ. ” (Catechism of the Catholic Church #1275)
